How to move around in Santorini

Santorini has quite good public transport. In summer, however, the buses are often quite crowded and if you are in a hurry, at this time of year, you should avoid them as the crowds and traffic on the streets may make you arrive late at your destination. If you choose this mode of transport, you will definitely be financially rewarded as the price is unbeatable: about € 1.80 for a route from Fira to Oia.
There are routes that are quite far from each other, an example is the distance between Oia and Fira, so logically you will need to rent a car. Prices vary, and definitely worth it!
General travel advice
August is the month when you can bear the highest cost, as due to the many visitors, your options are limited. It is almost impossible to find accommodation, the restaurants are constantly full, as are the bars, cafes and night clubs.
Depending on your tastes, food prices vary in Santorini. You will find many cheap fast foods that sell rounds and sandwiches for about 4 euros for a meal. Cheap restaurants will cost around 9 EUR / person. A nice restaurant will cost around 18 EUR / person, and from there on there are luxury restaurants and restaurants specializing in various cuisines where the prices are much higher.
